Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Conduct high-throughput assay development for peptide drug discovery and investigation of new methods for unnatural amino acid incorporation into mRNA display libraries and genetic code expansion.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

PhD in pharmaceutical science, biochemistry, chemistry or related field.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, AND EXPERIENCE

Documented research productivity and achievement, i.e. peer-reviewed publications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, AND EXPERIENCE

Experience in protein or RNA biochemistry and/or enzyme kinetics.

SPECIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Must comply with all environmental health and safety rules including proper use of all personal protective equipment (PPE).
