Description:

The research field is microbiology. Published experience with Gram-negative bacteria is required. Experience with cloning, DNA/RNA extraction, 16S microbiome analysis, quorum sensing, crystal violet staining, RNA-seq, qRT-PCR, western blotting, fluorescence- and electron microscopy, and fluorescence reporter assays is required. The candidate must be fluent in R, including performing differential expression analysis, read mapping, genome analysis, alignments, phylogeny, and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis. Excellent written and spoken English is required.
The postdoc’s duties will include research within Microbiology as well as teaching and co-supervision of students.
