Description:

SUMMARY

Baylor College of Medicine and the department of Neurosciences is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to join a dynamic research team to managing projects and develop novel techniques to analyze tau-related cellular dysfunction, such as cell culture, iPSC development, confocal microscopy, and western blotting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • No experience required.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
  • Evaluates and analyzes data.
  • Establishes new research protocols and procedures.
  • Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
  • Maintains laboratory operations.
  • Supervises research staff.
  • Manages projects and develops novel techniques to analyze tau-related cellular dysfunction, such as cell culture, iPSC development, confocal microscopy, and western blotting.
  • Assists in lab managing operation including ordering reagents and requesting quotes for major equipment.
  • Presents findings at conferences, write manuscripts, and contribute to grant application preparation.
  • Attends and conducts training, mentorship, and active collaboration in these areas are designed to support your scientific and career growth.
