The Faculty of Law is accepting applications for one or two positions as Postdoctoral Associates in the law and policy related to cybersecurity.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The postdoctoral scholar will engage in research on law’s relationship to cybersecurity, which may entail inquiries related to such fields as privacy, human rights, national security, international trade, intellectual property, money laundering, artificial intelligence, and/or platforms and competition.
The postdoctoral scholar may be eligible to apply separately for a sessional teaching sessional position in Law or a related area.
This is a full-time, in-person position on the main campus of the University of Calgary. Experience in all aspects of the position will be advantageous to applicants, as will organizational skills and an ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will have received a doctoral degree in Law or a related field within the five years immediately preceding the beginning of the appointment. We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and identities.
