MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prospective candidates should possess a Ph.D. in a field relevant to the role (e.g., mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or building engineering) by the start date.
  • A strong motivation for research, excellent organizational skills, proficient communication abilities in English, and a solid track record of publications are essential.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A keen interest in multidisciplinary research.
  • Proven capability to conduct both independent and collaborative research projects.
  • Rich research experience in CFD.
  • Solid HVAC or building science background.
  • Hands-on skills in aerosol testing techniques, such as particle counter, will be considered valuable.

Responsibilities:

  • Engineer practical ventilation solutions tailored to farm applications, enhancing indoor air quality and health for workers and animals.
  • Undertake independent research, supported by the team, to push the boundaries of current HVAC technologies.
  • Articulate research findings and analyses through both written reports and oral presentations to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Craft and submit manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and present findings at appropriate forums.
  • Engage in the grant proposal process to secure funding for future research endeavors.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering their technical skills.
