JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Postdoctoral Fellow to collaborate with Scatr, a next-generation start-up revolutionizing drug-checking technology for public safety. The successful candidate will play a critical role in advancing our cutting-edge analytical capabilities to support harm reduction and public health initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PhD in Chemistry or a related field, with a strong background in mass spectrometry and HPLC.
  • Proven expertise in method development and quantitative analysis using HPLC-MS.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex projects.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity in developing new methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    This position offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with Scatr, combining academic expertise with industry innovation to address critical challenges in drug detection and public safety.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $54,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize HPLC-MS methods for the detection and analysis of narcotic compounds.
  • Generate and validate calibration curves to ensure accurate and reproducible quantification.
  • Prepare detailed analytical reports and maintain comprehensive documentation of experiments.
  • Collaborate closely with Scatr’s team to innovate new analytical techniques and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of advanced drug-checking solutions to enhance public safety.
