YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicant must have a PhD in biological sciences and a strong background in biochemistry, combined with an interest in cellular signaling pathways. Candidates should have technical knowledge in protein biochemistry, cell biology and molecular cloning. Experience in autophagy and/or working with C.elegans is of advantage. We will consider only candidates with documented experience, having published at least one high quality publication and demonstrated creative and critical thinking. We are seeking candidates who are highly motivated, well organized, and self-driven, able to work both independently and as a team player. Communication skills in English are essential, knowledge of French is of advantage.
Responsibilities:

The candidate will develop a research project that explores the consequences of altered expression or function of MALT1 on autophagy, using in vitro and in vivo approaches (making use of cell lines and C. elegans). The applicant is expected to work together with other team members in a highly collaborative manner and to participate as an assistant in a small number of teaching activities.
