REQUIRED SKILLS

• Excellent oral and communication skills and the ability to prepare professional documents, in both Arabic and English.
• Proficiency in popular coding languages including Python and C++.
• Excellent knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, Large language models, especially in relation to Humanities and social sciences.
• Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle.
• Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping frameworks.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and produce reports under strict guidelines.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
• Flexibility and ability to function effectively as part of a team.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

• Educational background in a relevant field such as AI and / or computer science, with experience in AI application in humanities and social sciences.
• Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, data science, natural language processing, or AI methods applied to social science data.
• Strong programming skills (Python, R, or equivalent) and experience with AI tools and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience in conducting interdisciplinary research and handling large datasets.
  A strong record of publications in reputable journals in the relevant fields.

As a As a Postdoctoral Research Associate in AI or Computer Science, you are expected to work on interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of artificial intelligence and the social sciences. As well as contribute to promoting the integration of AI into research in the fields of humanities and social sciences and explore how AI can be applied to address social challenges.
