Description:
FULL TIME - 35 HOURS PER WEEK.
We are looking for a talented early career researcher in fluid dynamics and/or machine learning, with expertise in computational methods to work on the project “A new understanding of turbulence via a machine-learnt dynamical systems theory” (UKRI Frontier Research Guarantee for an ERC Starting Grant).
YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:
- Excellent knowledge of fluid mechanics fundamentals
- Experience implementing machine learning approaches and/or high performance computing for flow simulations (Desirable).
- Strong coding skills in an object-oriented language
- Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g. one or more of JAX, TensorFlow, PyTorch) would be highly beneficial (Desirable).
