POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER
(Postdoc, m/f/d, salary grade E13 TV-L)
within the Cluster of Excellence Hearing4all. The position is full-time (currently 39.8 hours per week) limited until 31 December 2025 and suitable for part-time work.
The loss of hair cells in the cochlea is one of the most common causes of hearing loss. The diagnosis of underlying pathophysiology plays an important role in the therapy with hearing aids. In order to characterize different pathologies, we analyze mouse models with cell-specific functional disorders in the inner ear. We correlate anatomical changes with functional tests to improve diagnostic methods for certain functional deficits. The project is embedded in the Cluster of Excellence Hearing4all (http://hearing4all.eu/EN/), an interdisciplinary cluster jointly led by the Oldenburg University, Hannover Medical School and Leibniz University Hannover.
We are looking for a highly motivated research assistant.
