Description:
THE POSITION
We are seeking a passionate and innovative postdoctoral researcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in the area of immunology, biochemistry, biotechnology, structural biology, or a related field, and possess a deep interest in antibody discovery and protein engineering. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative technologies aimed at characterizing plasma cells in the context of neurological autoimmune disorders.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Extensive experience in protein design and engineering.
- Proficiency in recombinant protein and antibody expression, purification, and characterization in mammalian cell systems.
- Experience with standard molecular biology techniques (e.g., cloning, vector design, plasmid construction, qPCR, Western blot, etc.)
- Demonstrated independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Interest in mentoring junior researchers and working within interdisciplinary teams.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS
- Previous experience in B cell and antibody research.
- Expertise in cell culture and immunological assays, including flow cytometry, ELISA, and ELISpot.
- Proficiency in affinity measurement techniques, such as SPR, BLI, and KinExa.
- Experience with computational protein design or modeling using Rosetta, AlphaFold, and/or deep learning approaches.
