An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Postgraduate Office within the Faculty of Health & Medicine, supporting the team in managing postgraduate programmes of study including doctoral programmes across the whole faculty. You will join a small team of coordinators and an assistant to undertake work to maximise our students’ experience and support academic colleagues. This role will have responsibility for all postgraduate programmes within the Department of Health Research which is part of the Faculty of Health & Medicine.
You will have experience of working in a busy office environment and be able to manage a busy workload, to meet the demands of various stakeholders. You will be an excellent communicator and problem solver and be able to work effectively under minimal supervision as part of a team.
The Faculty provides an environment that strongly supports the individual needs of each employee, promoting a healthy work-life balance. We are committed to family-friendly and flexible working policies on an individual basis, as well as the Athena SWAN Charter (Silver), which recognises and celebrates good employment practice undertaken to address gender equality in higher education and research.

We offer an occupational pension scheme, a generous annual leave allowance, excellent training and development opportunities, flexible benefits, an employee assistance programme and flexible working options.
This role is a full- time, fixed term post, until 31st January 2025, in the first instance. This could be considered as a secondment opportunity, and approval from your current line manager should be sought.
The Faculty of Health & Medicine is committed to ensuring our workforce is reflective of our diverse student population and is therefore committed to increasing representation of staff of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds across all roles and at all levels.
