Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The Schneider Electric Digital Power Application Center in Canada has several exciting new projects and is seeking to expand its team with a Project Technical Leader. If you are an individual with a passion for automating electrical distribution systems in critical infrastructure settings such as hospitals, airports, data centers, microgrids, and electric vehicle solutions, then this job opportunity may be the perfect fit for you.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Engage in the design of these systems
  • Contribute as a team member during project execution
  • Take the lead for a specific stage of implementation or even oversee the entire project

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE?

  • Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation Engineering degree, or an equivalent engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience working on automation and/or SCADA projects
  • Registered Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) or Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Industrial Power Systems experience for hospital, and railway application highly preferred
  • Driving license required
  • Availability for travel to customer sites within the country (up to a 30%)
  • For Quebec-based candidates, functional knowledge of English and French is required. Must be able to work with stakeholders located in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and internationally.
