ARE YOU QUALIFIED?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Power BI design, development and maintenance.
• Proficient in Power BI. Experience with Qlik or other BI/Visualization tools is considered an asset.
• Strong DAX programming skills are required.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with cloud data warehouse solutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Trojan Technologies is looking for a Power BI Developer to build scalable and reliable dashboards and reports that support our business needs. The BI developer will act as a key member of the Data Management and Analytics team supporting data governance, data standardization and visualization.

THE ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB INCLUDE:

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Work with data from various databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, etc. and cloud analytical/data warehouses such as Snowflake.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Develop and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for various stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, security and compliance with best practices and standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve data and performance issues.
• Collaborate with other developers, data engineers, analysts, and business users.
