Description:

The role of Power and Energy Analyst requires constant engagement internally with project, technical and operations functions, and externally with supplier and advisers. Our Power Management department is responsibile in purchasing electricity to ensure our power supply and energy sales, thriving initiatives to lead and support the organizations’ net zero emission targets. Furthermore, the role presents an opportunity to grow into energy analytics or into wider functions such as PPA’s (Power Purchase Agreements), REC’s (Renewable Energy Certificates), onsite generation, batteries and financial modelling of such assets. This position is in full-time, permanent and located in Frankfurt am Main.

Responsibilities:

  • Timely and correct execution of billing and invoicing of energy to customers
  • Management and verification of invoices from energy suppliers
  • Verification of consumption data received from operational assets including the ability to identify and rectify errors
  • Management of stakeholders who provide or require energy consumption / customer consumption data
  • Management of onboarding new customers and / or existing customers to new products and ensuring contractual obligations for energy supply are met
  • Engagement and execution of additional activities required to meet the organization’s net zero targets
  • Maintenance of electricity and grid usage contracts in our energy data management software (Robotron e*count)
  • Billing, accrual and budgeting of electricity and grid usage contracts
  • Handling and monitoring of market communication
  • Maintenance of grid-related contracts (grid connection contracts, etc.) with grid operators
  • Maintenance of electricity supply contracts (portfolio management, etc.) with suppliers and service providers
  • Focus on cost savings through regulatory optimisation, e.g. individual grid charges, reduction of statutory levies
  • Preparation and processing of forecasts and KPI reports
