REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents)
• Worked within a DevOps environment
• Proven experience in designing and deploying complex solutions using Power Platform tools
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, including data modeling, report design, and DAX.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and enterprise security practice
• Experience in an Agile Scrum Environment
• Use of Kanban Board and other typical Agile ceremonies
• Previous leadership experience or team lead role in a technical environment
• Experience configuring and deploying Dynamics 365 applications
• Konoweldge of Power Apps Test Studio or other Power Platform testing solutions
• Experience in configuring and using other data stores (SQL/SharePoint/Lists)
• Expertise in developing and deploying Microsoft Teams Apps
• Development experience using Microsoft stack (.NET/C#/TypeScript/SQL Server)
• Experience with UX design
• Power Platform Certifications (PL-900, PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-500)

ABOUT THE ROLE

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Power Platform Lead to work for our client within the retail sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.
Our client is undergoing a global expansion and they are looking to bring a large number of the franchises under the parent group. Each of the locations has a different type of ERP and CRM Platform so they want to create a central system that provides a single version for their customers in a more strategic way and start to gain insights from the data they currently have. This role would play a crucial role in the development of a PowerApp tool.
The successful candidates will be expected to design, develop, and implement Power Platform solutions based on established patterns and best practices, working with development teams as well as directly with customers. Assist in driving the adoption of cloud solutions using the Power Platform and provide technical advice to team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the development of PowerApp tool for the client’s pricing strategy
• Lead a team of developers, providing strategic guidance on platform best practices, performance optimisation, and security standards
• Create and maintain a roadmap for Power Platform usage across the organisation
• Develop and implement custom solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design user-friendly applications, and optimize workflows.
• Create data models, dashboards, and reports using Power BI to deliver insights and drive data-driven decision-making
• Establish and enforce governance policies to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
