Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for providing technical detail to management and field delivery of high voltage substation testing works safely, positively, effectively and efficiently. You will also:

  • Work with management to plan and agree on work/job objectives
  • Scope a job effectively and identify environmental and other influencing factors
  • Ensure plant and equipment are compliant, in test, in good working order and fit for purpose.
  • Provide support for the estimating of works to ensure they are priced correctly
  • Guide with interpreting technical drawings and specifications when required
  • Perform competent audits and quality checks
  • Articulate job methodologies and approach clearly and clarify to team on site
  • Seek and explore alternative ideas/approaches to make cost savings and improvements
  • Complete necessary reports
