LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR CAPABILITY AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on data collection and analysis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#. Experience with data processing frameworks and tools like Apache Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial Services Experience: Familiarity with the financial services sector, particularly in power curve data analysis and collection.
- Software Tools: Experience with software development tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Data Visualisation: Knowledge of data visualisation tools and libraries, such as D3.js, Tableau, or similar.
Responsibilities:
- Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications for Experian power curve collections, analysis, and visualisation.
- Data Integration: Work with large datasets to integrate, process, and analyse power curve data from various sources.
- Performance Optimisation: Implement algorithms and techniques to optimise the performance and accuracy of power curve collections.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure reliability and performance.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications, including design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software development and the financial services sector to continuously improve our solutions.
