Powersports Shipping & Receiving Manager

The Shipping & Receiving Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shipping and receiving department in a busy power sports dealership. This role involves managing inventory, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of products, coordinating with suppliers and vendors, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, experience in warehouse management, and a solid understanding of power sports products and industry standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse management, or a similar role, preferably in the power sports or automotive industry.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems and processes.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring high standards of performance and customer service.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle logistical challenges.
• Familiarity with power sports products (motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, UTVs, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and other relevant tools.
• Forklift certification and experience handling large items is a plus.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education in logistics or business management is preferred.
