Description:
Detail job description and main responsibilities: Provide advice and support to relevant professionals. Undertake school-based consultation in a theory-based approach, around cases where school staff are seeking specialist knowledge around mental health and wellbeing. Deliver training to professionals around emotional health and wellbeing issues and undertake any relevant training which is required to deliver relevant evidence-based training programmes. Deliver learning to learners in both Primary and High Schools around emotional health and wellbeing.
Deliver, where appropriate evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Work effectively with other members of the Powys CAMHS School In-Reach Team and CAMHS Services. Work with key stakeholders collaboratively to improve outcomes for children and young people. Support onwards referral processes through liaison with schools and other services.
Adhere to PTHB and professional body standards of record keeping and storage of records. Contribute to the collection of data. Support the Team Lead with delegated responsibilities. As this is a Pan-Powys post, there will be a requirement to travel.
