DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• 4+ years successful experience in Origination or Commercial position for renewable power PPA marketing
• Knowledge of local power markets, contracting schemes and regulations
• Business development acumen with some experience of negotiating transactions and closing deals
• Capable of establishing and managing client relationships and productive networking
• Strong negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written)
• English

We are looking for a PPA Origination Manager based in Santiago, Chile to be responsible for identifying and originating relationships that lead to power purchase agreements for development projects.
As a member of the Power Marketing team, the PPA Origination Manager will use their knowledge of local power markets to build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties, including and not limited to prospective off-takers, existing customers, renewable advisors and sustainability organizations. They will evaluate opportunities and relationships from a tactical and financial point of view with the goal of developing new contracting opportunities.
The PPA Origination Manager will develop commercial activities in key American markets - specifically Chile and eventually US- by scouting and originating long-term energy supply agreements with utility, commercial and industrial customer, and by promoting partnerships with traditional and non-traditional energy purchasers.
