JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a Media and PR Agency, is seeking a dynamic Account Supervisor with a strong background in multicultural marketing, particularly within Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities.
This role will lead high-profile retail-focused accounts, developing and executing integrated brand campaigns that connect brands with multicultural audiences, influencers, and community-based organizations.
The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of multicultural consumer behavior, with a preference for those who have worked with AAPI communities. Experience in retail marketing is a plus. This role involves client relations, strategic campaign planning, media and influencer outreach, and team management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Deep experience working with AAPI communities and a passion for multicultural marketing.
- Strong knowledge of diverse cultural insights and consumer behaviors.
- 5+ years of experience in advertising, PR, media, or digital marketing.
- Proven track record leading integrated brand campaigns and influencer-driven activations.
- Retail marketing experience preferred, but not required.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in hybrid, in-office settings (2 days per week required).
- Willingness to travel for client events and activations as needed.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead integrated brand campaigns for retail-focused clients, ensuring strategies resonate with multicultural and mass-market audiences.
- Serve as a trusted client partner, managing relationships at senior levels and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Oversee and guide campaign activations, including media outreach, influencer collaborations, and community engagement.
- Develop compelling press materials and oversee communications strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, strategic, PR, and production teams to deliver award-winning campaigns.
- Identify new business opportunities, driving growth for both clients and the agency.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to direct reports.Mentor and manage 1-2 Account Coordinators, fostering team growth and collaboration.
- Monitor workflow, productivity, and team performance.
- Offer constructive feedback and coaching for professional development.
- Support a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration across teams.
