Primary Special Education Apprentice (Practicante de Educacion Especial)
Markham College is seeking to appoint a Special Education Apprentice for the Primary Section starting August 2024. (practicante pre-profesional o profesional de educación especial) Apprentices will learn how to create an inspiring and stimulating child-centered learning environment and support the social emotional development of children from 7 to 11 years of age. Markham Teachers are dedicated to ongoing school improvement, thus, apprentices will gain hands-on experience with the most innovative educational techniques.
This position requires apprentices to collaborate with classes taught in English, thus the ideal candidate will have an advanced level of English. Candidates must be a student or graduate of their university’s Special Education Program and belong to the top third of their year group (tercio superior). This position requires a commitment until mid-December 2024.
