Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Practice Facilitator team at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. We are actively recruiting into a Band 6 Clinical Practice Facilitator post.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate who may already be a Clinical Practice Facilitator or who has an interest in education.. The successful candidate will need to be well organised, flexible and reliable with excellent communication and inter-professional skills. They will also need to be a team player and work alongside colleagues from different professional backgrounds.
This vacancy has been advertised in accordance with the new NHS pay rate which will take effect from autumn 2024. Please note if your employment starts before the 24/25 pay scales are implemented you will be paid under the 23/24 pay scales and any backpay will be adjusted accordingly. The postholder will work with the team promoting and supporting the development and implementation of evidence-based nursing practice for all levels of nursing. Assisting in the coordination of nursing study days and participation in the available rotation programmes is also required. Collaboration and links with the wider education team across the trust to develop and deliver practice projects and developments relevant to trust objectives is essential. Participation in the development of policies, procedures and CPD strategies are also required. Contribution and attendance at the trust CPD Forum is expected.
