Practice Management System Analyst - Full Time

Required Education and Experience: High school graduate. Proficient in use and application of physician practice management application including electronic eligibility and claim edits (preferred NextGen EPM and GE Centricity Business). Understanding of ANSI X12 EDI transaction sets. Report writing using business intelligence software. Proficient in MS Office, including Access. Project management skills with the ability to determine and present suggestions for process efficiency and enhancement. Thorough understanding of medical billing processes. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Preferred Education and Experience: Prefer two-year degree from an accredited college or university. Prefer experience with use and application of electronic charge capture system (preferred MedAptus).

Provide support PFS Directors.
Analyze and make recommendations for business and system requirements relating to business office functions.
Provide business perspective for file maintenance/system set-up decisions.
Facilitates end user training.
Builds and maintains dictionaries and fee schedules; includes consideration of process design and integration with other systems.
Establishes Clinic-wide policies and procedures for monitoring compliance.
Design and implement reports to include DBMS, Analyzer, Access, etc.
Responsible for practice management system & electronic charge capture system upgrades, testing functionality and impact for end users.
Responsible for Diver Reporting for providers and month end reporting
