This is a key, strategic role within Datacom, tasked with driving growth, innovation and ultimately commercial success for a market facing proposition.

Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Define and execute the capability plan to create a culture of success, including team growth, performance, and development.
- Delivery Assurance/Governance: Provide leadership and guidance to the Delivery Assurance team, members of the Project Services Practice, and Professional Services Line of Business representatives, namely those involved in project delivery, contributing to the successful delivery of projects
- Programme and Project Delivery; Managing phases of Programme and Project delivery and establishing and managing effective project operations to deliver quality outcomes.
- Sales Support: Leveraging previous delivery learnings to ensure that future RFPs and pre-sales activities represent Datacom’s knowledge and experience
- Strategic direction: Consult with the wider business to define and execute a growth strategy for the Modern Professional Services business across Australian markets.
- Commercial and financial management: Develop and manage vendor contracts / agreements associated with projects under management. Establish, manage and report on programme/project budget(s), analyse budget variances and recommend appropriate action. Maintain and control cost, schedule and quality of project activities to run on budget, time, and meet agreed customer requirements.
- Partner Engagement: Lead strategic planning around opportunity and product roadmaps to ensure we work with our partners both efficiently and with impact.
What you’ll bring
The Practice Manager - Delivery Assurance role in Datacom is a senior position in a newly established Programme Delivery practice in Datacom.
We need someone with solid programme knowledge, so experience managing large scale enterprise programmes of work is a must. As you engage with our different services businesses you will be happy rolling up your sleeves with hands on programme delivery, so you need to be happy to still lead large software programmes of work.
You come with demonstrable experience driving growth, managing commercial operations and leading innovation. You will have excellent people skills, commercial acumen, and a solid understanding of software professional services delivery.
You will have the autonomy and freedom to lead, working with some of the brightest minds in the business.
