Description:

To work collaboratively with education providers in monitoring the quality of existing and new placements Work across organizational boundaries to develop placements that will that will enhance the student learning experience. Work in partnership with education providers to ensure placement areas meet NMC, and other professional bodies standards for practice placements. Work in partnership with practices to ensure Education Audits of placements are undertaken as required and develop action plans where standards are not met. Communicate with the workforce lead on change processes which are sensitive in nature and can affect service developments.
Makes presentations/contributions to large multi-professional groups, and at local and regional conferences. Be able to respond to unpredictable situations in a manner that maintains working relationships. Assist patients from marginalised groups to access quality care Personal & Professional Development The post-holder will participate in any training programme implemented by NGPS as part of this employment, such training to include: Participation in regular, individual performance reviews, including taking responsibility for maintaining a record of own personal and/or professional development Demonstrating skills and activities to others who are undertaking similar work and maintain a personal record of personal development Sharing knowledge and good practice from outside learning within the wider team Working with management on any new training requirements Ensure own personal development through reflection and feedback from partners / colleagues.
Manage own time effectively, plan and meet personal and practice targets. Quality The post-holder will strive to maintain quality within NGPS, and will: Alert other team members to issues of quality and risk. Assess own performance and take accountability for own actions, either directly or under supervision. Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the team’s performance.
Work effectively with individuals in other agencies to meet patients’ needs. Effectively manage own time, workload and resources Communication The post-holder should recognise the importance of effective communication within the team and will strive to: Communicate effectively with other team members, our practices and other stakeholders. Recognise peoples needs for alternative methods of communication and respond accordingly.
