JOB SUMMARY
GRAHAM Construction is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Project Manager to join our team at Faslane/Coulport. This role is essential for overseeing the planning and coordination of pre-construction activities, ensuring projects are set up for success from the outset.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on pre-construction activities.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Must live within a 45-minute drive of the Faslane/Coulport site.
- Must be willing to undergo full Security Clearance process.
- No option for remote working; presence on-site is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the pre-construction phase of projects, ensuring all activities are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement pre-construction strategies and plans.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Oversee the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage the procurement process, including tendering and contract negotiations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the pre-construction team.
- Facilitate communication between pre-construction and construction teams.
- Monitor and report on project progress and performance.
- Conduct site visits and assessments as required.
