JOB SUMMARY

GRAHAM Construction is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Project Manager to join our team at Faslane/Coulport. This role is essential for overseeing the planning and coordination of pre-construction activities, ensuring projects are set up for success from the outset.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on pre-construction activities.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Must live within a 45-minute drive of the Faslane/Coulport site.
  • Must be willing to undergo full Security Clearance process.
  • No option for remote working; presence on-site is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the pre-construction phase of projects, ensuring all activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement pre-construction strategies and plans.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Oversee the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage the procurement process, including tendering and contract negotiations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the pre-construction team.
  • Facilitate communication between pre-construction and construction teams.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and performance.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments as required.
