Description:
The Pre-Installation Advisor will be office based and responsible for liaising with customers to ensure that their needs and expectations are clearly understood and met prior to installation. This role involves providing expert advice on products and services, ensuring that the right package is selected, and facilitating a smooth transition from pre-installation to installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to understand their requirements and offer tailored product and service solutions.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge to ensure the correct selection of packages, addressing any questions or concerns from customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales and Installation, to ensure accurate and efficient order processing.
- Ensure that all customer specifications, preferences, and timelines are accurately documented and communicated.
- Review installation plans and assist in identifying any potential challenges or requirements before the installation process begins.
- Provide customers with clear guidance on installation procedures, timelines, and any necessary preparations.
- Address any pre-installation concerns or issues raised by customers, ensuring their satisfaction with the upcoming process.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and communications in the CRM system.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and service offerings to effectively advise customers and assist with problem-solving.
- Support the wider team in ensuring smooth and efficient pre-installation processes, contributing to the overall success of business operations.
- Upselling, if required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong work ethic.
Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Proven experience in a customer relations role, preferably in sales, customer service, or technical advising.
- Previous experience working within an office environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
Desirable:
- A strong understanding of the products or services offered by the company, but training will be given.
- Knowledge of installation processes or technical backgrounds would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
