Description:

Job Overview:
Our IT security client in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Engineer with extensive experience in ELV security systems, access control, surveillance, and smart building technologies. The candidate must have a strong technical background with at least 3 years in a Pre-Sales role, supporting sales teams in designing and presenting technical solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in working closely with clients, sales teams, and technical teams to provide tailored ELV solutions. The candidate must be currently residing in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose technical solutions.
  • Design and develop ELV solutions covering CCTV surveillance, access control systems, fire alarm systems, and smart building solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and solution demonstrations to clients.
  • Engage in proof of concepts (PoC), technical assessments, and feasibility studies for prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with OEMs, distributors, and system integrators to propose the best solutions based on client needs.
  • Assist in responding to RFPs, RFQs, and technical documentation for project proposals.
  • Provide pre-sales consultancy to customers by identifying pain points and recommending appropriate ELV solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies, industry trends, and market developments.
  • Work closely with post-sales and project implementation teams to ensure successful deployment of solutions.
  • Train sales teams and customers on technical capabilities and benefits of ELV solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in ELV Technical exposure, with a minimum of 5 years in the UAE (Dubai) market.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Pre-Sales role, supporting ELV Sales teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge CCTV surveillance, access control, fire alarm systems, intrusion detection, and smart building technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and presenting technical architecture and ELV solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with C-level engagement experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand client pain points and propose optimal solutions.
  • Experience working with regional distributors, system integrators, and OEMs.
  • Must be currently residing in Dubai and have an established network of clients and industry contacts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree/MBA is a plus..
