Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer – Cybersecurity to support our sales team by designing and delivering tailored cybersecurity solutions to prospective clients. The role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trust with clients by addressing their unique security needs. You will play a critical role in driving business growth by providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role, preferably in the cybersecurity domain.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, including but not limited to:
- Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- SIEM and SOAR platforms.
- Threat intelligence and vulnerability management tools.
- Cloud security and zero trust frameworks
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or similar are highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and understand customer cybersecurity requirements, pain points, and objectives.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops on cybersecurity solutions to prospective clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing technical queries and overcoming objections related to cybersecurity products and services.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and implementation teams to align solutions with customer requirements and industry trends.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats, industry standards, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations.
- Support the transition from pre-sales to implementation, ensuring seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, customer-centric mindset, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support sales efforts.
