Description:

Inspera was born in #Norway as a #cloud ️ based digital assessment platform that helps plan, author and deliver digital exams globally We are on a mission to make #education assessment more inclusive, fair and relevant.
The Pre Sales Solution Specialist will contribute to the production of compelling and clear technical proposals in the Digital Assessment arena, in predominantly English speaking markets.
You are the right fit if you have great writing and presentation skills for technical sales pitches, and ideally already have some understanding of the SaaS industry and education segment. You will be customer facing, and also liaise with our internal Product and Engineering teams, acting as the bridge between customer needs, academic processes and Inspera solutions, creating clear, precise and compelling bid proposals. Recent graduates can also be considered.

Key responsibilities & Duties

  • Product guru: you will be our solutions expert, who will research, try and test, liaise with Product & Engineering, Onboarding, Services and other internal departments to ensure your knowledge of the Inspera product portfolio is top-notch and up to speed at all times. Follow internal release demos and product roadmap developments.
  • Opportunity evaluation: Evaluate and analyse tender materials, establish compliance matrices, contribute to GO/NO GO decisions
  • Proposal development: Write comprehensive and persuasive bid proposals that clearly demonstrate winning themes and are delivered on time. Ensure the proposal content is accurate, compelling, and compliant with client specifications, in particular in relation to functional descriptions.
  • Demonstrations and presentations: Deliver well rehearsed and thought through demonstrations of the product portfolio to the prospective customers, in line with the tender guidelines and user scenarios. Build custom demonstrations and deliver Proof of Concepts (POC);
  • Trial Account: Set up trial accounts and user scenarios in accordance with tender guidelines, and create easy-to-follow user guides. Respond to clarification questions and provide further guidance/training sessions if required.
  • Improve: Maintain Inspera’s library of stock answers, ensure timely reviews by subject matter experts and identify areas for process improvement and implement enhancements.
  • Continuous research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors and other emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with Head of Bid Management in coordinating and managing the end-to-end bid process in accordance with Inspera’s bid process, including bid go/no go analysis, kickoff meetings, assigning responsibilities, establishing timelines, and ensuring adherence to deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication or a relevant field (Business, Engineering, etc.)
  • Background in technical sales, bid writing, sales consultancy or similar
  • Fluent and eloquent oral and writing skills in English, other languages are desirable
  • Ability to deliver precise technical and product knowledge to customers via excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and analyse data effectively;
  • Understanding of academic practices and workflows
  • Take a leading role in responding to functional requirements and writing proposals and tender responses.
  • Some travel and out of hours work may be expected from time to time
