Description:
The Pre-Sales Technical Consultant is a strategic technical advisor to prospects and clients. He/she provides technical support and applies broad understanding of technical developments and products to solve customers’ business problems in a timely manner.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Liaise with clients and business to understand the needs/pain-point of business and to consult, design solution architecture for them.
- Carry out consulting, technical and IT/Digital architecture analysis/assessment, effort estimation, solutioning and proposal review; and present the proposed solutions to clients.
- Ensure compliance in proposed solutions (architectural design, security, managed services, etc) for clients in different industry sectors (public, finance, healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, telco, etc).
- Illustrates good understanding of services/solution offerings of the company to consult the businesses.
- Tailor IT/Digital solution and service offerings to suit clients’ needs
- Conducts study of the market need and trend in order to direct and initiate trendy and innovative technology/solution/services to the company’s HODs.
- Keep up to date on knowledge and know-how and be subject master expert (SME) in technologies (Cloud, Microservice, Infrastructure-as-code, etc), best practices and compliances in IT/Digital solutions, services and developments for different industry sectors.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or master’s Degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Technology or equivalent.
- Must possess excellent communication skills (in English at least), and presentation skills.
- Must be a person with good business acumen.
- Must have experience in IT service delivery
- Must possess skills in software engineering including design principle, platform analysis/evaluation and selection, architecting in various technologies (e.g. Cloud, Microservices, Infrastructure-as-code, etc)
- Experience in enterprise products eg Adobe, Microsoft, Salesforce etc is preferred
- Experience in bidding and working with Singapore Government projects is preferred.
