PRECAST STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Keegan Group is a well-established, leading supplier of high-quality construction products within Ireland and the UK. We began by producing ready-mix concrete and have now expanded into concrete block manufacturing, precast wall and floor manufacturing, and most recently producing calcium carbonate.
We supply our quarry products to customers in the commercial and domestic markets around Dublin, Meath, Kildare, Offaly, and Louth. Our precast is supplied all over the UK and Ireland and our calcium carbonate is supplied to feed mills all over Ireland.
We are currently seeking a Precast Structural Engineer to join our expanding team at our head office in Trammon, Rathmolyon, Co. Meath, which is home to our Limestone Quarry, our Precast design department, state of the art precast manufacturing plant, concrete block plant, concrete batching plant, and lime plant.
This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established leading construction company outside of Dublin and would be ideal for anyone seeking to reduce their daily commute.

REQUIREMENTS

Liaise with the customer on all technical queries to ensure drawings are
provided to the correct specification
Technical support for office team
Technical support for Production Manager

Liaise with design team, external engineering teams

  • Support with preparation of GA and fabrication drawings, design documentation.
  • Must have experience in the design of Concrete (Precast)

    Attend site progress meetings and client meetings

    Attend Precast design progress meetings

  • Acting as a Structural Engineer within Multidiscipline Design Teams.

  • Providing design input and oversight for all structural aspects of projects.
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Overseeing the preparation of design drawings.

    Undertaking duties of the Assigned Certifier and Ancillary Certifier
