Description:
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The primary purpose of the Health Care Technician Lead (Preceptor) is to facilitate the necessary training and documentation skills for all divisional staff. Further, the Preceptor assists in ensuring overall program quality and reports to the Staff Development Department. The Preceptor assists in coordinating and facilitating the orientation of new employees to ensure staff are properly introduced to Murdoch Developmental Center policies and procedures. The Preceptor for Staff development will also be responsible for filling in for Preceptor vacancies on campus, providing flexible training opportunities, weekends and alternative shifts.
Scheduled work hours: 8:00a-5:00p with flexible scheduling including weekends. Days and Hours vary at times depending on departmental training needs. This may involve early AM to late PM on 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in delivering training programs for adult learners
- Experience in working with people with Developmental/ Intellectual Disabilities.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
