Description:

Lead the development of multiprofessional preceptorship training programmes to meet the identified development needs of our staff, facilitating the delivery and evaluation Deliver a programme of multiprofessional preceptorship for all new registrants working in the Trust Provide formal teaching sessions to facilitate learning that results in continued staff development Participate in quality improvement initiatives, particularly those related to the nursing, midwifery and AHP workforce, to ensure that the Trust objectives are achieved. Provide support to ward managers and matrons in delivering the quality and safety agenda through the risk management strategy, including the undertaking of risk assessments Act as a role model, always working in accordance with the NMC and HCPC codes, Trust policies and guidelines Support our OSCE programme lead in the preparation of International pre-registration nurses for their test of competence (OSCE) in order to attain NMC registration Participate in the development of enhanced nursing skills within all levels of nursing.
