  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Economics, or Computer Science/Info Systems
  • Experience within the Fashion & Retail industry in product management, merchandising, analytics, pricing, strategy, or IT consulting
  • Familiarity with Market Intelligence or Pricing solutions
  • Excellent presentation, and application demonstration skills with small or large audiences
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving technology and commercial environment.
  • Technology enthusiast with mature business & technical leadership skills.
  • Technical Skills or knowledge of are a plus: E.g., R, Python, Databricks, Databases (MSSQL), and data science
  • Must be fluent in both English / German

Responsibilities:

CENTRIC PRICING PRE-SALES CONSULTANT ROLE

The main role of the Pre-Sales Consultant will be to support the Sales Process by demonstrating the Centric Pricing software business value and gaining the technology buy-in from the prospective customer, while understanding and mapping the customers’ requirements to the pricing solutions current capabilities and specifying additional requirements for the Pricing solutions future product development roadmap.
The PreSales consultant will be a Centric Pricing product expert and serve as the interface between the customer, sales & the onboarding project team and post-sales support during the sales process. The consultant’s responsibilities require a deep understanding of the software solution and its applicability to the industry and processes.
This us a remote position that will cover the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide customer specific pre-sales presentations of the Centric Pricing Solution in cooperation with Marketing
  • Analyze/understand the prospects business and software solution requirements and current pain points and provide valuable solutions for each customer, while respecting the one release strategy (key business metrices, business model, relevant business processes/use cases mapped to software features & business rules)
  • Demonstrate the solutions in pre-sales situations incl. customer appointments, and then where appropriate: fairs, events etc. focusing on the value proposition for the customer and the USPs of our solutions
  • Be the first touchpoint to give overview of IT architecture and data-to-data requirement discussions
  • Provide written feature specifications of gaps identified in the pre-sales process that can be generalized for our one release strategy (Feature Requirement Document)
  • Contribute to RFPs and RFIs while sales own the entire RFP/RFI process
  • Create the business case incl. ROIs for the prospects
  • Provide feedback to Product Management teams for customer and prospect enhancements
  • Work with Marketing to help promote the solution through webinars, white papers, etc.
  • For Market Intelligence solution, presales consultant will own and run trials/POCs with prospective clients as appropriate to aid in sales efforts in closing deals
  • In addition to supporting customer deployments the consultant may be involved in some post-sales situation to help with project activities.
