Precise Tool & Die Limited is a global supplier to the automotive, consumer products and defense industries. We specialize in precision tooling, stampings and assembled components.
Precise has stamping presses ranging from 40 to 220 tons and experience working with a full range of metals including cold and hot rolled steel, pre-plated steels, stainless, aluminum, brass, copper and titanium.
Additional value-added capabilities include: a range of in-house welding services, component sub-assembly and full service plating and finishing through our approved outside suppliers.
Our engineering and tool making staff provide complete tooling design, build and maintenance services for both tooling-only and production part customers.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous Experience Required: 1 year as a Press Set-up Operator, Preferred: 5 years;
  • Education Required: Secondary (high) school graduation diploma or GED;
  • Skills Required: previous experience in process control, GD&T, reading drawings and use of measuring, gauging tools;
  • Weight Handling: Able to lift 35 pounds;
  • Basic knowledge of repairing and maintaining manufacturing machines;
  • Good physical condition;
  • Automotive manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow all company safety procedures; '
  • Engage in continuing education training and seminars to remain up-to-date on the latest industry techniques, machines, safety regulations, and equipment;
  • Set-up, operate, and adjust metal stamping presses as needed to ensure proper tooling, press equipment, and the required materials with the correct specifications are used for quality production;
  • Measure and examine products and complete the quality control procedures as required in the set-up procedure and the production work order before they’re packaged to ensure they meet company and customers quality standards;
  • Monitor and control machines as required in the production work order to maintain daily and weekly production schedule;
  • Ensure work environment remains safe, uncluttered, clean, and well-maintained by performing maintenance and general clean up duties throughout shift as time allows;
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain assigned machines and equipment as needed for maximum product quality and operational efficiency;
  • Record all problems and product nonconformance’s and report to the Supervisor;
  • Other responsibilities that may be assigned as required.
