Description:

Job Purpose:
Working in a constantly developing area, where no two days are the same, the successful candidate will support the global sales teams across a wide remit of products and services. Primarily working in the Language Services area, but also cross trained to be able to support the Technology Pricing Operations area too. You will be an integral part of the team working on client specific opportunities, reviewing existing client pricing where analysis on contracted rates will be used to determine potential adjustments to the rates during contract renegotiations, as well as the strategy of proposals being presented to New Business opportunities, and to overall ensure the profitability of these potential clients and opportunities.
You will be required to work with colleagues from multiple teams and departments, from all levels of the business including the Senior Leadership team, so the ability to convey intricate and detailed scenarios in a clear and concise manner as well as being able to adapt conversations styles depending on your audience is a must.
Our team motto is “Anything is possible”, so thinking outside of the box and coming up with creative ways in which we can support our clients (both internal and external to RWS), and any thoughts or ideas around continued improvement for Pricing processes will be welcomed. The Pricing Operations Team meet daily (using Teams) to discuss on going projects and day to day business and are a very collaborative team, also collaborating with the wider Sales Operations team. A true “One RWS” approach to all we do.
The pricing for the products and services are run through CPQ software, so experience of working with large CRM systems would be a plus

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills
  • Numerate and PC literate with very strong demonstrable Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience in applying and building Impact Analysis models, to record what potential changes to client’s contracts would result in from an expected margin perspective.
  • Being able to logically “think outside of the box”, to be able to creatively come up with solutions to solve client pain points.
  • Having an inquiring mindset, with the ability to always be asking “is this the best approach to take”, and the confidence to address areas within the business, where a “better” approach could be adopted.
  • Ability to pick up, understand and develop new logic “flows” within the SFDC environment.
  • Methodical and organized in approach to all multiple tasks at once
  • Good team player with the ability to work on own initiative as required
  • Ability to communicate confidently at all times with all colleagues, both internal and external and at all levels across the business.
  • Works in a client focused manner to ensure internal clients receive an excellent service, and to ensure that all external clients have the best user experience whilst working with RWS
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support multiple time zones
  • Degree Level education

Responsibilities:

  • Weekly / Monthly Reporting on various aspects of the Technology and Language Services business
  • Identifying upsell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Gathering relevant information from various teams to support RFP’s for New Business proposals and presenting this to the Senior Pricing Specialist to gather approval from the wider business if required
  • Ongoing maintenance of product and service pricing within the CPQ system.
  • Creation, manipulation and presentation of analysis using large data sets.
  • Regular contact with Supply Chain and Product Management to ensure all Products and Services are continually reviewed for accuracy and profitability
  • Daily analysis of various dashboards, to ensure quote approvals are being processed accurately and in a timely manner across the business.
