Description:

SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Pricing Analyst.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
Experience: Ideally 2-3 years of federal government pricing experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Working knowledge of government pricing practices, cost and price analysis, FAR and CAS regulations, and all of the various contract types such as Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), and Time and Materials (T&M) contracts.
  • Cost/Price proposal narrative writing and subsequent experience responding to pricing evaluations, negotiations, final proposal revisions, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen to make sound financial analysis and decisions/recommendations.
  • Strong organization, analytical, and critical thinking skills; attention to detail, excellence in all forms of business communication, resourceful problem-solving, professional demeanor, consistent/thorough follow up, strong team collaborator.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced MS Excel skills

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.

Responsibilities:

Job Description: SEACORP is seeking a Remote Pricing Analyst to support the Finance department. This ideal candidate would be located in the DC Metropolitain area or Middletown, RI area but that is not required.

The Pricing Analyst’s duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Leads development of cost proposal spreadsheets and cost narratives in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, current government regulations, and company policies while ensuring cost proposals are current, accurate, and complete.
  • Collects cost input data from technical representatives, subcontractors, and vendors to estimate labor, equipment/materials, other direct costs, and travel costs.
  • Develops cost proposal narratives to substantiate cost and pricing data in compliance with all RFP section L requirements.
  • Conducts Price to Win analysis and contributes to pricing strategy discussions.
  • Develops financial and profitability summaries to discuss with senior leadership to help support company growth and profitability objectives.
  • Provides guidance to proposals team members to ensure all Section L requirements are followed.
  • Creates Excel rate and pricing templates for subcontractors.
  • Provides peer reviews and analysis of pricing files developed by other pricing staff.
  • Given the level of access to strategic planning, confidential organizational activity, and sensitive cost data, the Pricing Analyst must maintain a very high level of confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
