Description:

Sommaire : L’analyste – estimation se joindra à l’équipe d’estimation pour fournir un aperçu analytique des stratégies d’estimation sur les offres de produits et les appels d’offres publics compétitifs. Il ou elle coordonnera la communication avec les équipes de ventes, gestion de projet et marketing pour atteindre ces objectifs, ainsi que les tâches administratives associées.

  • Excellentes compétences verbales, écrites, analytiques et de présentation.
  • Excellente connaissance de Microsoft Excel (recherches, tableaux croisés dynamiques, formules imbriquées ; peut lire et modifier des formules déjà écrites)
  • Capacité d’analyser l’informations et la transposer en recommandation écrite concise.
  • Capacité à organiser, prioriser et rechercher dans des délais serrés.
  • Attention au détail.
  • Capacité à effectuer des tâches avec un minimum de supervision.
  • Solides compétences interpersonnelles.
  • Connaissance SQL un atout.
  • Connaissance de Salesforce, un atout.
    Summary: The Pricing Analyst will join the Pricing team in providing pricing and analytical insight to pricing strategies on product offerings and competitive public bids, coordinate communication with Sales, Project Management, and Marketing to achieve these ends, and associated administrative tasks.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Math or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience;

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two + years of experience performing pricing and/or analytical work;
  • Knowledge of construction bidding process and project management an asset;

QUALIFICAITONS:

  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, nested formulas, can read and modify previously written formulas)
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and research under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to distill information into concise written recommendations.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • SQL knowledge an asset.
  • Salesforce knowledge an asset.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teams with the other Analysts on the Pricing Team to provide clear, concise, and accurate responses to pricing requests by reviewing bid documentation, cost accuracy, competitive information, and historical data. Acts as back up to the other Analysts in their Regions as needed.
  • Prepares financial analysis including competitive pricing options based on competition, market share, costs, and other appropriate metrics.
  • Gathers relevant data by working with our sales force to collect bid tabulations; input and manipulate the data to allow for complete analysis and identification of potential pricing issues.
  • Maintains pricing activity reports, databases, pricing formulas, and tables accordingly.
  • Assists with the deployment of estimating improvements including new software maintenance with the Operations, Supply Chain, and IT departments.
  • Communicates and interacts intra-departmentally with Sales, Operations, Marketing, IT and Finance.
