Description:
A bit about the ‘Department’: The Finance department at KINTO UK serves as the strategic hub for financial planning, analysis, and decision-making, where the Pricing Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimising revenue streams and ensuring competitive pricing strategies align with the company’s overall financial objectives.
KEY EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Relevant tertiary qualification applicable to the position
- Background within financial services
- Demonstrable financial modelling skills using MS Office suite and ability to apply complex financial principles
- SQL financial analytical experience would be useful for the role
- Experience with data mining, analytics and forecast techniques
- An understanding of profit and loss drivers/measures and accounting treatment
Responsibilities:
- Ensure alignment with the KINTO One Pricing strategy, continuously refining pricing models to adapt to market dynamics and customer preferences.
- Develop and maintain price optimisation including segmentation in line with the KINTO One Pricing strategy.
- Establish and maintain governance, control, and best practices for pricing activities, ensuring adherence to corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Set up a pricing control cycle and develop monitoring tools to track pricing performance and compliance.
- Report regularly to the Pricing Committee on pricing initiatives, corporate constraints, and recommended best practices for future pricing strategies.
- Develop and maintain robust data management processes, working closely with internal departments to collect and share relevant pricing data.
- Collaborate with external suppliers to gather competitor information and leverage market insights for pricing decisions.
- Utilise knowledge of rate card mechanisms to assist with the implementation and further development of pricing strategies, particularly within the new booking system.
