JOB DESCRIPTION

This role provides you with a fantastic opportunity to work in one of the world’s most innovative banks. In this role you will develop financial models and scenarios which help to inform critical business decisions for Europe’s largest Ecommerce Merchant Acquirer.
As a Pricing Associate within European merchant services, you will play an integral part in the development & execution of the regions pricing strategy. You will manage revenue/cost and scenario models which will drive key business decisions, compile ad-hoc impact analysis for pricing structure changes & unique pricing scenarios and manage the deal approval process. This role is European focused but there will be exposure to other MS markets (Americas & APAC)

Job Responsibilities

  • Owns the European pricing model – European pricing model SME, maintaining the model and updating as required for new products & pricing strategies. Provide training and support to model users
  • Runs custom modelling for unique pricing scenarios, representing pricing at deal review committees
  • Manages BAU pricing approval process & tracking approvals, maintaining EU pricing SOP’s and ensuring the team is audit ready
  • Ad Hoc analysis as required including financial modelling, support of customer requests and customer profitability analysis
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams understand upcoming interchange fee, scheme fee & internal product changes and assess impact from a pricing perspective
  • Reviews client contracts and pricing models to ensure accuracy, supporting onboarding teams with queries around pricing and pricing model outputs.
  • Supports other management directives as prescribed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS

  • Degree in Business/Finance/Maths/Economics or equivalent.
  • Experienced MS excel user (intermediate to advanced)
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative and problem solve independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, role requires working with other employees across all levels and multiple different teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS

  • Accounting/Finance background
  • Payments/Merchant acquiring experience
  • Demonstrable financial modelling and/or pricing experience
