About the Role:
In this role you will advise Sales teams on pricing strategy and terms issues, review deal prices and renewals, and develop proposal prices and deal structure options as required.
Deal prices can involve several price structures including subscription, transactional, user-based, hybrid plans, software license fees, and professional service fees.
This position is remote, US-based, and is an individual contributor role.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing input to sales organization and market planning organization on price strategy, deal structure, discounting, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Reviewing and approving deal prices. Coordinating input and approval from other organizations when required by policy.
  • Performing financial analysis as required to evaluate deal profitability. Modeling projected financial impact of decisions.
  • Providing guidance on customer agreement documents for prices, terms, and deliverables.
  • Maintaining price reference documentation.
  • Ensuring consistent tracking of customer price data.
  • Taking initiative in identifying profit improvement opportunities.
  • Performing pricing analysis for pricing initiatives using analysis of information from multiple sources.
  • Coordinating proposal development with the sales team and management.
  • Assisting in the development of implementation plans including tasks and timelines.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Have Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
  • Have Solid background working within Finance, Marketing, or Pricing
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Have experience working collaboratively with sales organizations
  • Have excellent analytical skills
  • Have knowledge of pricing principles and B2B pricing operations
  • Have knowledge of the software/technology industry
  • Have strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills including the ability to influence across the organization.
  • Have advanced/expert Microsoft Excel skills
