How you will make an impact
SEA & Taiwan Region is a $1.1B business and a growth engine within the company. As a result of the current and anticipated growth, an exciting Pricing manager opportunity has arisen to lead the pricing analytics and resultant value creation within the region! Partnering with Sales, Marketing to provide support to the business, deliver profitable growth and pricing excellence.

This work includes performing product price and profitability reviews, analysing market competition, and administration/evaluation of special pricing assessments as well as ongoing support on day-to-day maintenance of price lists maintain price lists and ad-hoc pricing data analysis.

  • Be a key part of identifying and crafting price improvement projects and drive the implementation and roll-out of key methods and tools with various business lines and countries in the region.
  • Drive targeted responses to identified challenges such as FX and other market factors that affect price.
  • Establish comprehensive pricing / discount analysis to support business growth.
  • Advocate for and implement policies, systems, and processes to efficiently lead price deployment.
  • Actively work on process improvement to streamline existing processes. Exercise independent judgement to evaluate, review and provide recommendation for appropriate action.
  • Lead to ensure discount and approval matrix are updated, collaborate with different workstream peers to troubleshoot and resolve pricing and quoting issue, and collate system improvement requests for development.
  • Address pricing-related inquiries, provide pricing guidance and pricing tool support, and develop solutions for product bundling, promotions, and discounts.
  • Collaborate with regional and country marketing teams to align promotion requirements with systems’ functionalities
  • Lead daily pricing operations such as maintenance of list prices and discount matrix in ERP systems, including pricing support in product launch process.
  • Mentor professional development of team members with inclusion.

How you will get here
Education:
BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Economics or related field desired
Experience:
8 years of direct experience in Pricing, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk, with rich people management experience. Excellent discernment and experiences working in a business partnering type role.

  • Outstanding analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to operate effectively in a sophisticated matrix organization, and maintain positive professional relationships with peers and upper management.
  • Excellent at prioritizing multiple projects at the same time and shows creativity and innovation in presenting ideas.
  • Proficient user of SAP, Power BI, Cognos, excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Hire, lead, mentor, strengthen and develop the broader team to enable professional and technical growth as well as talent retention.
  • Promote a culture of personal responsibility/accountability and open communications.
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision, values and competencies.
  • The ability to identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical-Process-Improvement

Travel requirements
This role requires a 10% - 15% of travel
