QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/JOB REQUIREMENTS (ABOUT YOU):

  • 3 years progressive experience within accounting, finance, contracts or auditing
  • Experience managing others an asset
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred accounting or business-related post-secondary education
  • Ability to read and understand contracts and legal documents
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Responsibilities:

ROLE:

Leads a team of Pricing Associates in the implementation, maintenance and analysis of local customer pricing, customer rebates, and supplier agreements. Oversees contract compliance customer requested audits and functions. Assists with process design, improvement, and standardization.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads a regional Pricing team
  • Provides agreement expertise, guidance in agreement system use, troubleshooting support, and issue escalation
  • Oversees and ensures quality and timeliness of Pricing team tasks and responsibilities
  • Works with the sales team to write new customer contracts (MDA’s – Master Distribution Agreement)
  • Involved in the tendering process for new opportunities in support of sales
  • Reviews existing rebate setups periodically to ensure accrual rates are appropriate, communicates with sales on suggested rebate accrual rate adjustments as required
  • Serves as a point of customer pricing inquiry escalation
  • Supports recruiting, staffing, training, onboarding, and development of Associates
  • Assists with employee goal setting and completes performance evaluations for assigned staff
  • Assists with customer requested audits in compliance with FAMM
  • Monitors contract customer Pricing and Agreement compliance
  • Ensures policies and procedures are compliant with FAMM and will pass internal audit
  • Leads team efforts to identify improvement opportunities and continuously improve team performance
  • Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
  • Understands that their role is critical in creating a safe organization with minimal environmental impact and the value that brings to the organization.
  • Is willing to drive Environmental, Health and Safety performance by acting as an example and holding their team accountable to complying with EHS programs, policies, and requirements.
