Description:

Main Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for overseeing and resolving contract management issues that arise in Primary Care Support the growth of the business by developing the reach of Primary Care services and support to our PCNs and General Practices Provide operational management and support to the Federation to strengthen and drive development across multiple areas Provide excellent communication and leadership skills and a clear understanding of the challenges of operational management. Responsible for providing clear direction and overseeing the delivery of all clinical and non-clinical KPIs within your teams Use your expertise to support the organisational development of the Federation Oversee, support, and manage Primary Care Contracts, including the LIS/DES/QOF requirements of our member practices and services we deliver Demonstrate appropriate analytical ability, comprehension skills, intellectual capacity and knowledge of relevant contract/legislation, regulatory frameworks, performance management, clinical governance, and financial arrangements. Take responsibility for the management of wider operational and business support functions Contract management in line with primary care regulations and guidance Produce quality and performance reports from a diverse range of data sources Manage and work to resolve complaints with contractors and other stakeholders Responsible for assessing risk, managing risk, and escalating risk of any contract or service you are overseeing. Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation, and evaluation of the tasks/projects by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications, and stakeholder management.
Support the procurement of new contracts Managing high level financial budgets and identifying data driven efficiencies across contracts and services Deal with Primary care disputes and manage contract specific risk registers, seeking opportunities to introduce risk mitigation measures, ensuring regular risk reviews are undertaken. Communication and Engagement: Work collaboratively with ICB and PCNs to foster a culture of working together and promote best practices across Havering. To work as a flexible member of the Federation, providing support to other team members when necessary. Build good relationships with all stakeholders involved across the Havering Borough Partnership and across NEL ICS.
Represent the Federation at internal and external meetings in a professional manner and deputise as required. Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally You are required to have highly developed communication skills with the ability to communicate on highly complex matters Personal/Professional Development: Propose changes to own area, informing policy and making recommendations for other projects, work streams and service delivery You will consistently look to improve what you do, look for successful tried and tested ways of working, and seek out innovation and support others to do the same Contribute to the review and development of existing information management systems. The post-holder will participate in any training programme implemented by the Federation as part of this employment, such training to include: Participation in an annual individual performance review, including taking responsibility for maintaining a record of own personal and/or professional development. Training may need to be undertaken outside of normal hours, and off site
