Description:
The role is pivotal to the Primary Care Team and the delivery of the ICBs clinical priorities and strategy to improve the quality of primary care in collaboration with NHS England. The purpose of this role is to support GP practices in the implementation of service transformation, re-design and national programmes, as well as the delivery of local and national contracts. hold and lead a portfolio of projects as well as undertaking short term, ad hoc tasks required for the successfully delivery of primary medical care services. engage with GPs and practice member staff to understand opportunities and challenges in delivery of current services and ensure that these are effectively represented in the ICB.
engage in the development and delivery of implementation strategies and plans for agreed transformation and re-design programmes as they affect primary care. This includes: assessing financial and contractual implications; developing implementation guidance; identifying training and education needs and support; and providing effective advice in response to practice queries in meetings (virtual and face to face), via email and telephone. support effective monitoring and evaluation of the impact of local transformation programmes in primary care as well as nationally and regionally mandated programmes as required by NHS England. work closely with clinical and non-clinical practice staff, colleagues from across Ipswich and East Suffolk Alliance and in close co-operation with West Suffolk and North East Essex Alliance as well as other providers as appropriate.
