QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Relevant Diploma level qualifications or higher
• Demonstrate at least one year experience in a related field, or three years experience in the last 5 years if no relevant qualification held
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry and Forklift licence are desired but not essential.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a self-motivated hands-on Primary Products Inspector to join our team in a dynamic, fast paced fruit processing environment.

• Full-time permanent salaried position.
• 38 hours per week Monday to Friday.
• Operation hours vary between 6:30am and 5pm.
• Located at 376A Lobethal Road Ashton SA 5137.
• Salary between $75,000 - $90,000
• More than one position available.
• Must be available to work weekends and nights when required.

PRIMARY PURPOSE / DUTIES

• Ensure product quality standards are maintained to customer specifications.
• Perform a variety of quality checks to specified standards.
• In-line and post-packing quality checks
• Pre-dispatch checks.
• Complete all documentation relating to quality checks, on a batch-by-batch basis, on the relevant systems.
• Perform daily equipment checks, with records kept on appropriate forms.
• Record keeping in relevant systems.
• Cleanliness of QC stations/trolleys, including all equipment used for quality checking.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
• Comply with company WH&S standards and policies.
