QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Relevant Diploma level qualifications or higher
- Demonstrate at least one year experience in a related field, or three years experience in the last 5 years if no relevant qualification held
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry and Forklift licence are desired but not essential.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We are seeking a self-motivated hands-on Primary Products Inspector to join our team in a dynamic, fast paced fruit processing environment.
- Full-time permanent salaried position.
- 38 hours per week Monday to Friday.
- Operation hours vary between 6:30am and 5pm.
- Located at 376A Lobethal Road Ashton SA 5137.
- Salary between $75,000 - $90,000
- More than one position available.
- Must be available to work weekends and nights when required.
PRIMARY PURPOSE / DUTIES
- Ensure product quality standards are maintained to customer specifications.
- Perform a variety of quality checks to specified standards.
- In-line and post-packing quality checks
- Pre-dispatch checks.
- Complete all documentation relating to quality checks, on a batch-by-batch basis, on the relevant systems.
- Perform daily equipment checks, with records kept on appropriate forms.
- Record keeping in relevant systems.
- Cleanliness of QC stations/trolleys, including all equipment used for quality checking.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
- Comply with company WH&S standards and policies.
