Position Type:* casual- Monday and Tuesday afternoons. Potential for other days) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Tutor to support students in Mathematics and Literacy. The successful candidate will work with students in a face-to-face classroom setting, helping them improve their understanding and skills in these key subjects. Key Responsibilities: - Provide tutoring sessions in Mathematics and Literacy for primary school students. - Implement provided programs and tailored lesson plans to meet individual student needs. - Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and teachers. - Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. - Collaborate with other educators to ensure the best outcomes for students. Key Requirements: - Current Working with Children Check (essential). - Experience or qualifications in teaching or tutoring Mathematics and Literacy at the primary school level. - Ability to work Monday and Tuesday afternoons. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. - A passion for helping students achieve academic success and build confidence in their learning.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
